What I’m Loving Now

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while, so I thought I would share a handful of things that I’m currently loving – some of these are spring fashion trends and some are things I’ve personally purchased and have been impressed with.  So, let’s get into it!

BOUNDARIES BOOK

Boundaries Book

I’ve shared before that I recently started seeing a therapist a few times a month to help work through some challenges that have come with our new life changes.  One of the big topics we’ve been discussing is the importance of boundary setting (and how I historically don’t do a very good job of this).  A few weeks ago, I stumbled across this Instagram account and was happy to discover a wealth of knowledge about how to set healthy boundaries in relationships.  After browsing through her materials, I immediately ordered her book so I could delve into this even deeper.  She shares really helpful tips for effective communication, prioritizing self-care, how to heal from past traumas & more.  I personally think everyone would benefit from reading this, but even if you don’t buy the book, I suggest following her on Instagram – her Q&A highlight is especially eye-opening!

WOVEN BAGS

When Bottega Veneta came out with their woven bag collection, the fashion world collectively swooned and it wasn’t long before more affordable versions hit the market.  I just ordered this one & I’m hoping it looks just as good in person as the photo online. Here are some more “look for less” options that are worth checking out:

COLUMN 1:  ONE // TWO (in 8 colors) // THREE (also here) // FOUR // FIVE
COLUMN 2:  ONE // TWO // THREE (also in black) // FOUR (also in black)
COLUMN 3:  ONE // TWO (in 5 colors) // THREE // FOUR // FIVE (in 3 colors)

COSMETIC LAZY SUSAN

Cosmetic Lazy Susan

A chic way to display your favorite beauty products, makeup, brushes & more!  This rotating storage container is one of those pieces that is both functional & beautiful, so you won’t mind leaving it out on the bathroom counter or the top of your dresser/vanity.  You could also use this on a desk to hold pens & pencils – and the best part is that it’s currently on sale!

POSTURE CORRECTOR

posture corrector

A couple of weeks ago, I went to see the doctor for some back and shoulder pain I was experiencing.  He diagnosed me with upper cross syndrome and cubital tunnel syndrome & gave me some at-home exercises to do.  He also recommended that I purchase this posture corrector to wear while I’m sitting at my desk and going about my daily activities.  At first, it felt uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time because my body wasn’t used to staying so upright.  But, I’ve since adjusted to it and it has made a HUGE difference for me – I even wear it when I run now to help me keep good form.  If you have a desk job where you spend most of your day sitting or if you’re a mom to little ones and you’re constantly bending over to pick them up or help them out, I highly recommend trying this out – it’s been such a lifesaver for me!

HYALURONIC ACID SERUM

Farmacy Hyaluronic Acid

I’m always testing new skincare that hits the market – both out of sheer curiosity and also out of a strong desire to find the best possible products to share with you all!  I was actually really happy with the hyaluronic acid that I’ve been using, but I’m a big fan of the Farmacy brand, so I was eager to give this new serum a try.  And I can tell you that after using it for just a week, it definitely lives up to the hype & has officially replaced my previous favorite.  It absorbs so quickly into my skin, hydrates like nothing else and doesn’t pill at all when layering sunscreen or makeup over it (which was sometimes an issue with what I was using before).  Even though it costs a bit more than the drugstore option, I like that it’s a clean beauty brand that delivers the results I’m looking for, so I don’t mind spending a little extra.

SPRING-TO-SUMMER WHITES

Nothing looks better with a glowing tan than crisp whites – they go with everything and always look fresh.  Whether you’re rocking a monochrome ensemble in this summery neutral or just adding pops of white with your accessories, this is the perfect way to dress for the warmer weather.  Here are some of my favorite affordable picks for the season:
