In other words, their style is dictated by their environment. The following examples of fashion are common in different settings. But, what is the best way to stay current? Everlane, for example, has used fermentation of special types of yeast to create a material that resembles leather. By using biotechnology in the manufacturing process, the company does not need livestock for its production and distribution. Other fashion companies, such as Stein Mart, have begun using Mylo, a product made from synthetic materials. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) could have a role to play in creating fashions that are more sustainable.

In the realm of sports apparel, the market is growing at a fast pace. The advent of a pandemic and increased levels of physical activity have accelerated this trend. In fact, the sales of athleisure clothing are predicted to reach 40% in 2020.
